The male Northern Harrier is a soft gray and white colored bird, sometimes referred to as the "gray ghost."  Not as commonly seen as the brown female or juvenile harrier.

The Allen is a migratory hummingbird which shows up in the spring and stays in the area until late summer.  Hearing that they had been seen in Sebastopol already this year, I checked the Cherryridge property to find them in full residence at their usual spot.
