Great Blue Heron, Bodega Bay

Picture
This great blue heron at Bodega Bay seemed to have caught a glob of seaweed.
Picture
It brought its bundle of seaweed closer to the shore in order to manage it - and the mouth of a small fish can be seen.
Picture
Shaking the seaweed off, there is indeed a small fish!

There's some negotiating to be done before the fish can be swallowed.
