Wet Acorn woodpecker grooming and drying out on the CherryRidge property - a season for mushrooms as the dry, dry fields finally become soggy. ![]() ![]() Finches and sparrows busy drying out and feeding between storms

Very nice photography. The little diving pair of ducks we saw in the distance were Buffleheads. A nearby pond had quite a few Buffleheads, both male & female along with a couple of what I think were Northern Shoverlers. I saw a couple of sparrows that I cannot identify - wish you had been there with your camera.
